Other Accommodations

The University of Hawaii is near the world famous Waikiki resort area. There are many opportunities to explore Hawaii.

For the more quiet and gorgeous scenery, there are a number of bed & breakfasts on the Windward side of Oahu  in towns like Lanikai and Kailua.  The drive to the University of Hawaii is a bit longer during rush hour but the views are breath-taking. There are three major highways (Pali Highway, Likelike Highway, and H-3 freeway) from the Windward side that will take you to the main H-1 freeway.
