On page 12 of Ridgeway's Selected Letters, RJ apparently quotes a line of poetry, sayiong that UJ could:
"Tame the moon with peeled gray hazel-wands."
(Ridgeway has "Tame the morn", but the mss has "moon").
Can anyone tell me what this is from? I tried the Chadwyck-Healy databases, but unfortunately they do not (yet) include 18th & 19th C British poetry, which is the probable domain.
