Has anyone written a study comparing the work of Jeffers and Huxley? They were contemporanious (dying within a year of each other) both long time Californians, both lifelong pacifists, both former medical students whose knowledge of biology informed their work, and both shared a vision of man's destructiveness in his world and had a bleak vision of his future. But Jeffers did not have Huxley's sense of humor. I would like any comment.
